Abstract
Verrucous carcinoma of the larynx in a child is a rare clinical entity. Radiation treatment has been known to cause anaplastic transformation as well as increased chances of nodal metastasis. However, a recent report refutes this traditional belief. This is a report of an 11-year-old child with verrucous carcinoma of the larynx managed by surgery and postoperative radiotherapy.
